Elena Croci gives visibility to companies, banks, foundations and companies using specific skills modulated on culture-identity-territory.

A specialist in themes such as identity, modern society and historical memory, she is the author of several books and is a consultant to international companies for a new rethinking of the meaning of well-being within the working dimension.

Elena is Professor in cultural marketing at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. She has also taught at the University of Tourism of Lucca and the Catholic University of Milan publishing several books including "Cultural Tourism, the marketing of emotions", published by Franco Angeli and "Time deals, cultural communication for a new recipe for happiness", published by Lupetti.

Through P.V.T. (Potential for Enhancement of the Territory), an analytical model is developed based on variables, such as society, territory, economy and culture, which analyzes and measures the rating of the territory particularly focusing on local potential and uniqueness.
Elena speaks four languages and has graduated in humanities and social sciences at the Sorbonne University of Paris. She is a Captain of the Italian Army (selected reserve) for the enhancement of the historical and cultural heritage for the Italian Army Command, and for the strengthening of the historical memory of Herat, Afghanistan, where she has carried out several missions and produced several publications for the Afghan Government.

Elena’s Experience

1998-2003

Elena collaborated with Christie's, Museo della Permanente, Merrill Lynch, Banca della Svizzera Italiana, Lottomatica, and UBI Banca.
In 2002, she specialized in Mesopotamian cultures.

2004-2006

Became an Officer of the selected reserve of the Italian Army and, since 2005, has been going to Afghanistan as a specialist in cultural assets and identities. In 2006, Elena authored "Herat, Arte e Cultura", published by Rivista Militare e Poligrafico dello Stato.

2006-2008

As Director of the Venice Biennale, she was responsible for events and fundraising. she won the International Prize for Archaeology, Zeus city of Ugento (archaeology and mission abroad section), and since 2007 she has been Professor in Cultural Tourism at Cattolica Milan University.

2009-2011

Elena wrote "Cultural Tourism, the marketing of emotions", published by Franco Angeli, intended for university and post-graduate education. She carried out various missions for the Italian Army aimed at strengthening the identity of the Afghan population through its cultural assets, addressed schools and women's population.
In 2011, she received the plaque of honorary citizen for the project and the publication "Herat for schools" from the Governor of the Province of Herat, Daud Shah Saba.

2012

On behalf of the Joint Headquarters, she drafted and co-wrote, with the Aviation Chief of Staff, Settimo Caputo, a publication aimed at summarizing Italy's ten-year stay in the RC-West area of Afghanistan, entitled "Vicini a una terra lontana, sulle strade dell'Afghanistan con il contingente italiano” (Close to a faraway land, on the roads of Afghanistan with the Italian contingent) (published by Polistampa), awarded at the Amedeo De Cia National Competition.
She is a Founding Member and member of the College of Supporters of the Museum of the Holy Land in Jerusalem and is responsible for cultural communication in Jerusalem for the great Museum of Christianity.

2013

In Benghazi, Libya, Elena selected a collection of works by the Libyan sculptor Ali Wak Wak, and curated the exhibition and catalogued Anime di Materia at the Vittoriano in Rome, "Anime di Materia, la Libia di Ali Wak Wak" (Material souls, Ali Wak’s Libya) (Gangemi, Publisher). In October at the University of Herat and with the backing of NATO, a lectio magistralis "Why and for whom to keep" was presented by Prof. Andrea Bruno and Cap. Elena Croci.
Elena published "Affari di tempo, comunicazione culturale per una nuova ricetta di felicità" (Fausto Lupetti, publisher) aimed at marketing and communication specialists. For Fondazione Fiera and Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, she was responsible for territorial communication relating to Expo 2015.

2014

Producer of cultural content for the Azerbaijan Pavilion at Expo 2015.
Since 2014, Elena has been teaching in Cultural Marketing at the Brera Academy of Milan.

2018

Since 2018, Elena has been a consultant for Deloitte & Touche S.p.A. for a new rethinking of the meaning of well-being within the contemporary working dimension.
